Welcome to Youth Linx
Youth Linx UK is a new London based not for profit youth organisation aiming to transform the lives of disadvantaged young people by inspiring and motivating young people to develop new experiences and challenges providing a range of positive (social and educational) activities and support services for young people aged 9 to 21 years of age, living in Tower Hamlets and the surrounding areas.
Youth Linx UK offers a safe and welcoming environment where young people can find non-judgemental information and support on a range of issues relating to their individual needs, such as issues around healthy eating, sex and relationships, drug and alcohol misuse and issues around gang culture etc.
We believe that young people who are disadvantaged should not be overlooked, but mentored. We believe that the young people who are victims of drug and alcohol misuse, involved in local gang activities or selling drugs in our local communities should not be thought of as a lost cause, but a potential integrated citizen of the British community. In the end, the potential of our society is not being reached due to our inability to access and help those who are most in need, and most able to contribute to our society. Young people deserve a nonjudgmental safe place where they can have fun, meet new people, learn new things to enable them to feel empowered to make informed choices and for them to grow and develop as socially conscientious independent thinking individuals who are well-integrated, active and model citizens of society.
